Dodging Landmines

Dodging Landmines

Psalms 119:105 says “The Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet and Light Unto My Path”
Do we pray and ask God to lead and guide us? Do we desperately cry out “God help me, I can’t make it on my own”?
Do we feel that most days we are dodging landmines?

“A Lamp Unto My Feet” says to me that I only see the next few steps that I am to take in life and “A Light Unto My Path” says to me that I see the direction that I am heading but I do not know how to reach my final destination. I may only see what to do today or tomorrow but I don’t have the answers for next week or next year. Can anyone relate?

No doubt we have all been guilty time after time of asking God to lead and guide our steps and as soon as we ask, what do we do?
I usually dry my tears, put on my “big girl panties” as Granny would say and march forward.

Why didn’t I take time to stop and listen to the still small voice inside of me. Stop the madness!! Don’t take another step doing the same thing expecting different results.

Slow down, listen, stand on Psalms 119:105. Just as we want to help our children made the right decisions, my Heavenly Father is patiently waiting for me to follow the lamp that he has placed at my feet.

If any area of your life is heading in the wrong direction slow down, listen to that “still small voice of God”.
You can change the course of your life ONE STEP AT A TIME.
Look out world here we come!!
