21 Jan Love Letters
A few years ago I began writing a letter most days to my Father, to my Father God. It’s a great way to start my day. Some pages have tear drops on them while others are filled with words of anticipations and thankfulness. Knowing that I have a Father who watches over me and is working ALL things out for may good comforts my soul.
Yesterday, in my letter I wrote “you bring hope to a hopeless situation” While writing this my mind quickly went to the song “Jesus Lover of my Soul, Jesus I’ll never let you go, Brought me from a mighty long way, plant my feet upon the rock and now I know?
LOOKING BACK
I can see Lindsey, my oldest daughter singing this song for the CD that the church was making. With tears running down her face she knew Jesus as the lover of her soul.
We are now 20 years later and I see the price that one pays for walking away from the Father.
We are walking through life and things are good. Hand in hand we walk with our Father, then someone walks up beside us. As we continue to walk blinders begin to cover our eyes. Our focus and conversations are now centered around them.
The hand of our Father slowly slips from your grasp as Satan oh so subtly takes your hand and leads you down a path of destruction.
Disobedience will take you down a long dark road. But just wait, salvation and true repentance will turn life around to a point where looking back feels like a chapter from an old book.
Standing Firm
Father God, you are always patiently waiting for your children. You freely give life and that more abundantly.
Therefore, we are standing on your word and believing your promises that have been spoken over our children,
Thank you Father!!

There is no one better to follow than HE who controls and has ordained your destiny. You have the assurance of HIS Holy Spirit to guide your every footsteps. His grace surrounds you. HIS tender mercies new every day to cover your imperfections. HIS strength to renew you and HIS power to sustain you. Yes, we have all we need when we have made HIM Lord of our life. Our God is truly great! HE is the Lion of Judah, HE is the Lamd that was slain for our sins. God is the Great God!!
