My Red, Black and White Family

My Red, Black and White Family

This story begins in the Spring of 2004. As I sat in church at the early Sunday Morning Service I turned around to see a
beautiful teenage girl holding a baby just a few weeks old. This was the first time that I remember seeing them. As I looked at her eyes my heart begins to hurt.
I birthed my baby when I was 24 years old. The sleepless nights, the crying baby, all the what if questions racing through my mind was overwhelming at times.
I couldn’t image how a young teenager girl, still in school was going to take this journey.
God had a plan that neither of us knew about that Spring Sunday Morning. Our hearts connected, then our lives connected.
Here we are almost 15 years later. Doing life together, we are family!!!
