26 Dec Watch out, here comes a curve ball!!
Do you feel that life throws you a curve ball just when you have everything figures out? How funny is that? I realize more every day that I have nothing figured out.
It seems with me that I’m walking two separate paths at all times. When my personal life, meaning relationships, kids, family, friends, etc. are good then business is crazy.
Then when business is good it seems that someone or something on the relationship side falls apart.
I have to believe that the enemy of this world looks for any place no matter how big or small to enter our lives and destroy our peace.
God created each of us with “free will”. We cannot pray enough, fast enough, talk enough, give or take enough to change anyone. Don’t get me wrong, we have to pray and I mean PRAY when we find ourselves facing difficult situations. But at the same time we have to realize that change only comes when an individual sees the need for change. It takes getting sick of self, of surroundings, or the direction that life may be heading and decide to change. I can only change ME!!
As a parent, friend, or spouse we often “STOP” the hand of God because we run behind our kids or loved ones in an effort to keep them from making mistakes or “taking another lap” The reality is we are just prolonging true Deliverance. If the addict or the one in bondage is happy with me then I’m out of my place and I’m enabling them.
Crafty, deceitful, manipulating and controlling folks have on thing in mind. “what do I need to do to make ME happy”
The storm may be raging but if we take our eyes off of “THE PEACE MAKER” we will sink. Step back, stop getting in front of God. God know what it will take and what is the perfect time for change.
Free yourself to be who God created you to be, stop dragging folks with you who have no intention of finishing the journey with you.
