From Your Cradle to My Grave

From Your Cradle to My Grave

Though out my life my Dad said to me many times “from your cradle to my grave”. The older I get the more that I realize what he was saying. We didn’t always agree on things but I knew that I could call him at any time and he would be there. I am blessed beyond measure to have both a Mom and Dad that loved me and my two sisters and were always there for us.

What does “Unconditional Love” mean? According the Wikipedia is means, “Love without conditions”. When I love, I love deeply!
Distance doesn’t change your love, time apart doesn’t change your love, nor does disappointment change your love.

Love isn’t sacrificing my emotions to make someone else happy.
Love isn’t sacrificing my mental, emotional or physical health to make someone else happy.
Love isn’t turning a blind eye to wrong behavior or actions to keep someone happy.

My Grandmother had a saying about marriage and I think it holds true in most relationships. She would say “Marriage isn’t 50/50, it’s each giving 100% at different times”.

As we close the year let us take time to look at those who surround us and take time to evaluate relationships. Sure sometimes we give 100% but make sure you also receive 100% at times.

DO not sacrifice your life for someone else JESUS ALREADY DID THAT FOR US!
Love yourself first
Love without conditions
Surrounds yourself with folks that enrich your life

I declare that 2019 will be an amazing year as we give God control and follow the path that he has laid out for each of us.

Be Blessed!!!
